In 2020 UKK made an agreement with the The Association of Danish Museums (ODM), Danish Artists Association (BKF) and Danish Artists Union (DBF) on recommendations for minimum fees for exhibitions at museums, in 2023 the agreement was updated and Foreningen af Kunsthaller i Danmark (FKD) joined.

Studio and studio rentals are not cheap and prices are rising, especially in the larger cities. UKK believes that artists should have the opportunity to live and work in the cities despite the rising rents.

A group working to create an environment that meets the needs of art workers with disabilities to have access to the same opportunities and resources as our able-bodied peers.

New study points to the need for artistic environments in the larger cities. Art and artists contribute with creativity and experimentation to create diversity and life in the cities of Denmark. But how do we ensure affordable housing and studios so that artists can stay in the city? The new study ‘Artistic Environments – the Development of the Diverse City’ offers well-substantiated suggestions in the form of concrete scenarios for the artist residences and communities of the future.

Art Beyond Barriers: A panel debate focused on the responsibility of access, cultural heritage, and visual art, through a presentation of the project Mapping Disability Access to Danish Art Spaces. This event is featured in conjunction with a series programmed by UKK on the projects Diversity Commons and Urgent Matters.
